7. Treasurer’s Report
Premium Account - £1235.27
Community Account - £7920.89
Ice-cream sale £72.50 (29th June)

8. Summer Fete – report
The fete raised to date £4910.00 with still a few things to add on sealed bids, ice-cream sales. Key windows £50.00 the final amount will be over £5k which is a fantastic effort from all those involved making it another successful year.
The fete generally went well although a few areas have been highlighted that would need addressing for next year:
Theme – Best of British for fete 2008

* Organisation of the fete would be split into groups as felt too much put upon the chairperson, Liz has suggested the following: -
1 Raffle, sponsors and advertising
2 Programme design and printing
3 Catering/ BBQ
4 Purchase of prizes for all stalls
5 Stall equipment

• Had quite a few problems with past pupils making a nuisance of themselves both in and around the school so has been decided that part of the school would be closed with limited access to essential areas.

• A lot of rubbish was left after the fete, Antoinette contacted the council who came and did an extra collection from them school so will do that again. (Cost involved)

• It has been decided that the stall holders BBQ be scrapped, as again this caused problems with children being there with no supervision, rubbish being left in the playground and often people just want to pack up and get home. Suggested people either arrange to meet up later at a pub or BBQ around someone’s house.

• Raffle tickets sales down this year, not all books sent home are coming back, suggestions of keeping a visible total of how many have been sold and prize for the most tickets sold to help increase sales.

• Crockery stall – This year made a real mess in the playground by Yr1 took a lot of clearing up – so may look not to include it next year.

• Golf netting worth £200.00 has gone missing from the container
